Andy Williams Performing Arts Center in Branson, MO
Based on 4 reviews
The building itself was praised in Architectural Digest and won the 1992 Conservation Award from the state of Missouri.
The Moon River Theater was meticulously constructed according to Andy Williams’ design, which was inspired by an outcropping of rock he saw in the Ozark Mountains. The rock building is embellished with waterfalls, koi ponds and native ferns and trees as an expression of the Ozark wilderness. Each of the three lobbies is also decorated with local greenery, lending a natural beauty to the entire complex. The theater’s seating is stadium-style for the best possible view from multiple angles.
The theater is conveniently located on the 76 strip, less than two miles from several top attractions, like Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner & Show, Branson Titanic Museum and the Sight & Sound Theater.
