A wonderful experience! Standing on the stage, now that was 1 of the highlights for the day and i was really looking forward to doing this. This was a dream come true, to stand on the stage where so much history was made and where your favorite performers stood. Wow, what a day to remember, and a wonderful picture for the memory. The back stage tour was great and we had an excellent tour guide. The 2nd highlight, was watching the matinee show. This was a bonus, we stumbled onto this event when we signed in. Excellent show and we enjoyed all the country performers, that we would never have seen on our own -- they were all right there, wow! Loved the johnny cash display! Wonderful event and i would recommend this to anyone who is a die hard country music fan, such as me. I learned about so many in-depth history and details, that it made the ryman auditorium come alive in my mind. I walked in the building and instantly felt the presence of all those wonderful stars that have gone on. Then to actually see the stage where so many great performers stood. It was joy beyond words. This was one of the highlights of our trip. The ryman is beautiful and has so much history. And the staff was wonderful and knowledgeable. You can walk right up on the stage. While you there, be sure to record a song. Only 15.00 and you can say you recorded at the ryman. The songs are limited but you can get a list from the website so you are prepared.

The tour was great. We got to check out the auditorium and see the history of it. Our tickets even included a complimentary photo of us on the ryman stage!

Tip: You have to go through a security check point to get in. Listen to what they tell you as far as removing things from your pockets!

We took the self guided tour and walked through this grand old place. It is amazing the history this building holds. It was very nostalgic to see how much things have changed over the years.

Tip: Parking is expensive. Recommend the hop-on-hop off tour bus.

To sit in pews where it all began and watch the detailed video to kick off the tour was very moving and informative. Also, the photo opportunity on the steps that so many of those legends performed on was truly heartwarming and special. Quickly processed professional photos with keepsake folders by the staff were very much appreciated by us and other tourists. We highly recommend this tour.
