The Elvis Presley Birthplace is a small two-room home where the Rock n' Roll legend was born and is part of the Elvis Presley Park which includes Museum, Memorial Chapel, and life size statue of Elvis at age 13.
Located about an hour and 45 minutes from Memphis in Tupelo, at the Elvis Presley Birthplace you can step into the house and into the room where Elvis was born in 1935. Elvis' family soon lost the house due to lack of payment when he was about two years old, and the family moved in next door with his grandparents. At the museum, visitors will get to see of Elvis' personal items such as clothing, furniture, tapes, and microphones. Also located on the grounds of the park is the Elvis statue. This statue depicts a young Elvis at age 13 with guitar in hand. The park is available for picnics and other social gatherings. There is also a chapel on-site which can be used for meditation & reflection as well as weddings and receptions.
