Get back to nature at this 364-acre natural area park, featuring El Camino Real wagon trial, which many Mexican settlers followed into South Texas.
If you like to camp, hike, or simply be outdoors in a beautiful natural setting, you'll love it here! The hiking trails offer varying degrees of difficulty, some are smooth and compact, others are rocky and grass-covered.
The park is in a constant state of development, looking to make your experience there bigger and better each year. The camping area is available by calling the Reservations Office at 207-PARK (7275) for a camping permit. The park offers two different areas that can be accessed from the north or south side of the Medina River.
